W.I.R.E. regularly produces books, which are published and distributed by Verlag Neue Zürcher Zeitung in Zurich and Suhrkamp Verlag in Berlin. These publications take an interdisciplinary approach, focusing on long-term developments in business, society and the life sciences and benefiting from insights and knowledge transfer from the Collegium Helveticum of the ETH and University of Zurich. They are written in close collaboration with experts from a wide range of fields.

The declared objective of these books is to encourage dialogue between scientists and practitioners and to introduce the resulting pioneering ideas to a broad readership by means of focused contents, non-technical language and an attractive and clear graphic design.
